In the first quarter of 2023, the top Disney games on a unified platform in Africa exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.

Marvel Contest of Champions from Kabam Games, Inc. saw a notable drop in weekly revenue from approximately $38.6K in the last week of December to around $5.1K by the end of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 8.2K in early January before settling at around 5.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users experienced a slight decline from 18.9K to 19.9K over the same period.

MARVEL SNAP, published by Nuverse, displayed varied revenue trends, starting at approximately $3.1K in December and reaching up to $5.3K in early February before closing the quarter at about $2.9K. Downloads saw a significant drop from 7.7K in early January to around 750 by the end of March. Active users, however, peaked at 34K in early January and ended the quarter at roughly 31.8K.

Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes by Electronic Arts showed consistent revenue, beginning at around $2.1K and peaking at $2.2K in mid-March. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, rising from 2.8K in early January to 6.2K by the end of March. Active users also saw an upward trend, growing from 45.9K to 54.6K.

MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG from Scopely, Inc. had relatively stable revenue, maintaining figures around $1.3K to $1.7K throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at 11.3K in early March before settling at around 5.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users rose from 3.2K in late December to 7.2K by late February, then decreased to 4.9K by the end of March.

Lastly, MARVEL Future Fight from Netmarble Corporation experienced stable revenue, ranging from $710 to $1.2K over the quarter. Weekly downloads surged to 15.4K in late January before stabilizing at around 7.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained robust, starting at 112.3K in late December and marginally increasing to 113K by the end of March.
